Το SLAVES.

Το SLAVES. κυκλοφορεί 1 Οκτωβρίου σε όλες τις ψηφιακές πλατφόρμες από την Bashment Records.

Lyrics

01. No One

What I saw
What I believed
When I lived
In darkness

What I saw
What I believed
When I lived
Among them

What I saw
Things happening

02. Monster In The Mirror

Living in the blindness
maybe clever, surely mindless
it’s a tiny little monster
that it’s blood is white and blue

There’s a little mirror
if you look you may see clearer
that this tiny little monster
lives in here because of you

You won’t believe in your eyes when you’ ll see
what it can possibly do.
Because it’s you

Tending to pretending
fairytale that’s never ending
it’s a funny little story
that includes as me as you

Hey you stupid monster
you’re a peasant, not a master
In the page that’s written last
you realise that it’s not true

You only see what your eyes want to see
There’s nothing else you can do
Because it’s you

03. Long Live the Patience

I will try to pass the test
I will try to be the best
I will try to let you get inside my head and do the rest
Let the feelings be okay
those that make me want to slay
Let my life go by the flow
and I don’t know if you won’t bow

Long live the patience
Long live the

Patience
I got patience
You got patience
And we’re patients
in this room full of madness
I see sadness
Where everything goes and anything happens
And we’re puppets
Full of darkness
The crime partners
Only harshness
And we believe that
The only cure for
What we got is
Only a metaphor
And we believe that
What we got is
We believe that
Only God is
What we got is
Nothing to live for
What we got is
Nothing to die for

I will try to pass the test
I will try to be the best
I will try to let you get inside my head and do the rest
Let the feelings be okay
those that make me want to slay
Let my life go by the flow
and I don’t know if you won’t bow

Long live the patience

Who taught you to be kind?
Who taught you to be nice?
Who taught you that all kindness grows inside of people’s minds?
All the things that you desire
Are gonna burn inside a fire
That you lighted up, and you are watching it
And kinda like that twisted sight
And now you’re waiting

I like waiting every single day
Counting trains or watching birds fly away
Wasting years and years of life
Then complaining about time
Sometimes waiting’s not ok, when you got nothing else to wait,

Still.

Long live the patience.

I will try to pass the test
I will try to be the best
I will try to let you get inside my head and do the rest
Let the feelings be okay
those that make me want to slay
Let my life go by the flow
and I don’t know if you won’t bow

Long live the patience

Waiting, Waiting, Waiting for the after life
You ‘re mistaken if you think that it will take a while
Your mambo jumbo prayers will not fill your shoes
You ‘re gonna walk barefoot and you surely gonna lose I mean
A hundred millions ways to live
But only one to die

Long live the patience

I will try to pass the test
I will try to be the best
I will try to let you get inside my head and do the rest
Let the feelings be okay
those that make me want to slay
Let my life go by the flow
and I don’t know if you won’t bow

Long live the patience

04. Words Fake

I believe that the power that I have is fake
I put funeral candles upon my birthday cake
Make those stupid thoughts
And see how it works
Pretending everyday that I believe in words
I don’t believe in words
Don’t believe in anything
Don’t care about what you say, I’m gonn’ do my thing
All the lies I tell my self, fake career
Don’t have to make it big
Just to beat my fear

All the people talking in my head
I don’t know if I can stand the person that I am
Please, I don’t want to love you and pretend to be
The man my mother hated when she’s hating me
(I bet she hates you)

Words fake
I believe that word’s fake
And all I’m playing
These chords
Fake
You know I’m all fake
Words fake
I believe that word’s fake
And all I’m playing
These chords
Fake
You know I’m all fake

05. Fool

She was sad
She didn’t smile
and I didn’t know exactly what to do
I don’t know if she’s proud of me
and if I do, I don’t know what to do

If she dies, I die
Lay down and cry
She’s everything to me
But I don’t know how to manage this
There’s anger in my heart
And it tears me apart

And I don’t want to lose her
or maybe I do
Just to keep walking you need to lose
something you rely to

How fool are you
How fool are you
How fool are you
How fool are you

Don’t know how she used to be
I cannot help her anymore
She has to stand in her own feet
Like she learned to me some years before

If she dies, I die
I don’t know why
I’m happy when she’s dead
She tells me that she would die for me
But I keep to break her heart
And it tears me apart

And I don’t want to lose her
or maybe I do
Just to keep walking you need to lose
something you rely to

How fool are you
How fool are you
How fool are you
How fool are you

06. Revolution?

Frank Zappa: It’s time for a revolution but probably not in the terms that people imagine it.
The word seems to kind of drop images of sort of a modern day version of peasants going into the street with their pitchforks.
They go after that bad guy who lives in a big house someplace in the hill and “we’re gonna get that son of a bitch and we’ll take all that stuff away from him and we’ll give it to the workers”, you know.
That’s not the kind of revolution I had in mind.

Reporter: Which one you do have in mind then?

Frank Zappa: Well I thought that it might be nice if uh if it was handled a little bit more modern and efficient way.
Without people getting slaughtered in the street.
It’s a matter of infiltration.

Reporter: What kind of infiltration?

Frank Zappa: Because the thing that is wrong today is that people who are in control of the media and the government and things that run the lives of the average person in the street they aren’t doing a good job of it because they don’t really care and so if you just replace them, and I think that’s a possibility,

Reporter: By whom?

Frank Zappa: By interested people from the younger generation.

Reporter: You think they are more interesting than the older ones, you think it’s a matter of age?

Frank Zappa: Uh, I think the potential is there, in the younger generation. I don’t think that right now they are really interested. Their political involvement is on a very superficial basis, you know, but still they go out for the social aspects of a march or a rally rather than for the uh…what it could possibly accomplish. I don’t think that demonstrations are the best possible tactic.

07. Slaves

Watch your manners and behave
Obey to your master and remain to your cave
Moving like a tidal wave
Just prepare for the battle you will never be a slave

Now pay attention
It was an ordinary day of perfection
when people without a feeling took the power of the nation
With the hatred in their soul, iron weapons in their hands
left behind responsibilities and gave people commands
and they believed it was their fault, nobody tell them who to blame
Yes, they believed it was their fault, it was a shame
Only the flower left to smell
To remind people and tell them
that life is something else than what is know
Citizens worked in crooked ways
They had no nights and days
Until they die they had to be slaves
And those who were born were slaves
those who were born were slaves
those who were born were slaves
those who were born were slaves
those who were born were slaves
slaves
slaves
slaves
slaves
slaves
slaves
slaves
slaves

Watch your manners and behave
Obey to your master and remain to your cave
Moving like a tidal wave
Just prepare for the battle you will never be a slave

And all of us
We lived in bubbles
Without my mouth I’m having zero troubles
I live to work and work to live I don’t want to believe
that anyone would take my freedom in the kingdom
that they told me to live
(and whose the fault?)
It is your fault
and we must blame you by default
In my hands your head I want to hold
I know your heart is cold
I know your soul is sold
You have to know that our passion for freedom is hundred years old
and we will never be slaves
we will never be slaves
we will never be slaves
we will never be slaves
we will never be slaves
we will never be slaves
we will never be slaves
we will never be slaves

And if there’s hope in your eyes they shoot you
And if there’s song in your mouth they shoot you
And if there’re dreams in your sleep they shoot you
And if there’s will to survive they shoot you
And if there’s hope in your eyes they shoot you
And if there’s song in your mouth they shoot you
And if there’re dreams in your sleep they shoot you
And if there’s will to survive, well, could you?

Watch your manners and behave
Obey to your master and remain to your cave
Moving like a tidal wave
Just prepare for the battle you will never be a slave

I can’t breathe

08. Goodnight Kiss

I don’t wanna believe
I don’t wanna proceed
I don’t wanna breathe
I don’t wanna give you the right to blame me
I believe what I see
I don’t believe what you told me to be
I don’t believe a goddamn thing you say to me
Explain to me

What are you doing?

I’m not a fool
I’m not a slave
I don’t have patience
My words are real
I will escape
go out of the cave
No one will tell me how do I feel
No one will tell me what I will do
Maybe tomorrow killed by you
Maybe I’ll grab a gun for fun to…

Why do we always have to compromise, and
Why everyday the violence multiplies
and I cross the line and it’s always bad
but it’s always fine if you cross the line
and you wouldn’t believe it if you see the choice is mine, and

I, I don’t put flower in the barrel
I’m the bullet that will travel in your head
I ain’t smiling, I’m the mother of the misery
that gives you goodnight kiss before you go to bed, and

I, I put the flower in the barrel
I use my trembling hands to make an earthquake
I use my brain, I use my feelings and my soul
and I’m not sorry for the trouble I make

Are you surprised?
It starts from a spark
but it’s burning the house down
This lullaby
keeps me in bed
please get out of my head
Are you surprised?
It starts from a spark
but it’s trying to get you
out of my head

Out of my head.

And you believe that I’m the problem in the equation
I don’t deserve to live in perfect situation
And please don’t tell me how to show appreciation
to this nation
that makes me live like an abomination.

And you believe that I’m the problem in the equation
I don’t deserve to live in perfect situation
And please don’t tell me how to show appreciation
to this nation
that makes me live like an abomination.

09. I felt free

I felt free
It doesn’t matter anymore
It doesn’t matter anymore
If I believe in slavery
because
you know my mind is full of misery
and what I’m supposed to be

I felt free
It doesn’t matter anymore
It doesn’t matter anymore
If I believe in slavery
Your slavery

And I saw
things happening
